SIRUI Aurora 15mm and 24mm f1.6 First Shown at IBC2026

SIRUI displayed two upcoming Aurora lenses at IBC2026 ahead of their official launch. The Aurora 15mm and Aurora 24mm autofocus lenses were shown publicly for the first time at SIRUI's booth (12.D31) in Amsterdam.
New Aurora Focal Lengths at IBC2026
The Aurora 15mm and 24mm were displayed as pre-production samples. Visitors at the booth were able to handle the lenses and ask about specifications, comparing them to the existing Aurora models. Both new focal lengths are f/1.6, compared to f/1.4 on the 35mm and 85mm. Full specifications and pricing will be shared ahead of the official launch.
Each sample lens on display came fitted with a lens hood, following the same approach SIRUI took with the 35mm and 85mm.
Aurora 35mm and 85mm Background
The Aurora series began with the 85mm f/1.4, followed by the 35mm f/1.4 — full-frame autofocus lenses aimed at creators working across both photography and video. Both are compact and metal-bodied, weighing 490g. SIRUI positioned these lenses for run-and-gun shooting, portraits, and hybrid content work.
When the 35mm and 85mm launched, SIRUI indicated that additional focal lengths were planned for the series. The 15mm and 24mm preview comes more than a year after that. A 24mm and 15mm add wider-angle options to the Aurora line, alongside the existing 35mm and 85mm.
What's Been Shown So Far
Based on the IBC2026 samples and the existing Aurora lenses, here's what's been shown at the booth:
f/1.6 aperture, full-frame coverage
Autofocus, consistent with the STM motor used in the 35mm and 85mm
Compact, metal-body construction in line with the existing Aurora lenses
Wide-angle focal lengths suited to landscape, interior, and vlogging use
Sample units fitted with a lens hood, as with the 35mm and 85mm

Final Thoughts
