前世代と比べて、最新のSirui 35mm T2.9 1.6x カーボンファイバー アナモルフィックレンズは、フルフレームカメラ用ではるかに小型で軽量になり、光源によって色が変わるニュートラルなアナモルフィックフレアがアップグレードされています。
ほとんどのアナモルフィックレンズ、特に広角レンズでは、背景をぼかしてボケの楕円形の特徴をより引き出そうとすると、最短撮影距離が問題になることがあります。これらのレンズはどちらも最短撮影距離が0.9メートルで、素晴らしいですが、ダイオプターを追加することで0.9メートルよりかなり近くにピントを合わせることも可能です。
これらの2つのレンズはT2.9（またはF2.8）なので、暗い場所での撮影には最適ではないかもしれませんが、低照度でも非常にクールで特別な雰囲気を写真に作り出すことができます。
