How long is the warranty period?

The warranty period is 18 months. SIRUI guarantees that each product purchased is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.​

Is this a manual focus lens?

It is a manual focus lens, so the focus distance will not be displayed on the screen.

Why the 135mm lens is 1.8x instead of 1.6x?

1. Upon many SIRUI users' request, SIRUI is now on developing PL/EF series 1.5x Anamorphic series which was announced to come out in the next year. 

135mm 1.8x is the highest squeeze ratio we have ever made and added to this current 1.6x lineup that our users can experience the most anamorphic characteristics advanced. In the meantime, the Whole set keeps consistent on the color, lens flare, gear position and mount option, etc.

2. There are already 35/50/75/100mm in SIRUI Venus 1.6X series. Compared with 1.6x, the 135mm 1.8x will give a wider field of view to meet the needs on portrait shooting as well as the smoothly blurred backgrounds with more creamy oval bokeh.

3. Compared to 100mm 1.6X, the 135mm 1.8X Provides variety of options and imagination of creations on portrait shooting.

The 135mm 1.8x telephoto anamorphic lens is equivalent to a full-frame 75mm lens. It is the golden focal length for portraits, which meets the needs of shooting portraits and close-ups in the Venus lineup. In addition, the 1.8 high magnification sense of compression, the widening style is more obvious, this is the most unique existence of 135mm in the Venus lineup.

How to desqueeze the footage in post?

Desqueeze the footage via post-editing apps such as Adobe Premiere pro, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, DaVinci Resolve, etc. Set the length to 180%.

Does the 135mm T2.9 1.8x anamorphic lens match well with the 1.6x full frame lineup?

The 135mm T2.9 1.8x anamorphic lens has matching colors and the same gear position, filter size, aperture range and mount option as the 1.6x full frame lineup.
